WHAT IS THE VIBRAPHONE PROJECT?

Celebrating the first 100 years of the vibraphone, while looking towards the future. 

Founded in 2020 by percussionists, educators, and advocates for the arts, the Vibraphone Project inc. (VPI) is a non-profit organization created with the intention of celebrating the upcoming 100th anniversary of the vibraphone while fostering a positive future for the instrument through funding inclusive commissioning projects, developing educational resources for the community, and presenting innovative performance experiences.
