Echoes in Elevation is a musical experiment. The piece begins in a sea of one timbre, one color, one chord, slowly weaving in a strong sense of melody. Then, all at once, brightness takes hold on the first chord change before quickly reverting to the original tonality. It is this, the contrast between light and dark within the confines of a single cohesive musical color, which this composition aims to highlight.
