Since the Covid-19 pandemic, she has been writing a set of miniature compositions including 10 for percussion, 4 for flute, and 2 oboe miniatures centered on individuals’ stories and experiences during the pandemic. Gloria is the logistical director for “Dreamerfly, and other stories…” an interdisciplinary work by the Sounding Eye collective, which she co-founded with UK-based Chinese animator Shiyi Li. It features original music by James Owston and will be premiered online in Herbert Art Gallery & Museum’s ’13 Ways of Looking’ exhibition, and in the Bowed Electrons festival by University of Cape Town in South Africa.
