Perpetuum Miraculum – as the title itself suggests – is music that flows perpetually. “Miraculum” is a Latin word from which initially came “wonder, miracle”. This connects well to the deliberately ambiguous but almost surreal relationship between the real and the unreal, as in the electronic elements. The same word later meant “mirror”, which also echoes nicely with the overall arch form of the composition.
